Amanda & Zach | Engagement

Started my day super early for this session. I left my house a little before 6 and drove to Savannah. I didn't even take the time to make myself a cup of coffee! I met these two on River street and we started by the river. Hats off to the awesome groom, because Amanda left her shoes in the car and we went back to get them for her!

The sky was blue, the clouds were few, and there was a chill in the air. It was a great morning for a loving engagement session. Amanda mentioned that she wanted to take some photos at a coffee shop. This was great!! One, I was able to get the coffee I had missed out on and two, I always wanted to do a coffee themed shoot. We got lucky and had the outside tables to ourselves and Broughton street in the background for these great shots. Candid photos are my favorite way to go, and that was the best way to capture these photos. You may not be able to tell, but Zach's cup is actually empty!!

We finished by stopping in one of Savannah's beautiful squares. I just love the giant oak trees as backdrops and combined with the morning light, it was the perfect setting for this couple's beautiful, loving cuddles. I will see these two again in January for their wedding at the Mackey House!
