Annie and Erik | Engagement | Savannah, GA

Annie and Erik are getting married at Red Gate in the fall, and I am absolutely in love with the photos from their Spring engagement session.

The plan was to meet at Forsyth park and then go to River street for some shots with the history there, however, when we met, we decided to stay in the park so we didn't have to do much traveling. This worked out so well! After we got a few shots with the iconic oak trees and moss, we headed on an "adventure" to find other place to take their photos. They both love the old houses and roads in Savannah, so we just walked down a few side streets, where we found more moss, and some vine covered houses.

The sun was glowing white and then orange as we made it into the golden hour and they walked hand in hand down side streets, laughing and enjoying the company and love of one another. The last photos I capture that evening we of Annie's rings. I loved when she shared the special meaning behind both of her rings. When Annie was born, her dad bought the diamond ring for her mom, and then was eventually given to Annie when she got older. Her actual engagement ring from Erik is a beautiful gold Claddagh ring, and the arms of the ring open up to reveal the word "eternity".
