I want to start off by saying that Sarah and Brian are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. When we met for their engagement sessions, their love for each other was so apparent and beautiful. There was no exception for their wedding day.
I started off by meeting the ladies at Sarah's house where her family and bridesmaids were getting ready. Everything was so laid back and the ladies were having a lot of fun. I had about an hour and a half to get the detail shots so I took my time and made sure to capture every little thing. The pearls, the handkerchief, the coaster, the rings, the veil (that was her mother's) , and so much more. Oh, and we cannot forget about Miss Ivy, who hid under the table from all the excitement. Everything was perfect. The bride's hair was done by her sister and her make-up was done by one of her bridesmaids. When we all finished there, we headed to the church when they got dressed.
I got there before everyone else, so I walked into the church to check out the ceremony space. The first things I noticed were the high ceilings and the large window on the back wall. I just knew I was going to get Sarah in there for some photos before the wedding. The light coming in through the window was perfect for some bridal shots, illuminating the beautiful bride. The guys were getting ready on the other side of the church, so I went over for a visit. The first thing I noticed when I entered the room was a box full of Nerf guns. (it looked to be a youth room of sorts) I looked at my assistant, who was busy getting shots of the guys putting on their boutonnieres, and told her that we were definitely taking those outside for group shots. The guys liked the idea, so we did just that. Which later led to a battle between the bridesmaids and groom shooting each other.
The ceremony was perfect. As the bride walked down the aisle. the light from the window surrounded her in a halo of beauty and her groom could not contain his emotions. They were both swept away in their happiness and love for each other, it was as if no one else was in the room.

This definitely has to be my most favorite photo ever. She put on her veil and this was her reaction when she saw herself in the mirror. Simply priceless!
