In May, I had the pleasure of traveling to the beautiful Charleston, SC to capture these bridal photos for a beautiful bride. I was unable to capture their wedding last week, however, I am so honored to have been even a small part of this amazing woman's wedding. She was absolutely stunning and I am obsessed with all of her photos. Also, if you have never been to Charleston, do yourself a favor and go. Just another one of the East Coast's amazing cities! #Bridalsession #brida
When Dani contacted me last year and asked about capturing their wedding, I was honored. However, unfortunately I was already booked on their date. I desperately wanted to somehow capture this special day for these two college friends of mine, so we agreed that Michael would do it. Win, Win Right? Well, I still had something in my gut and I was actually a little devastated that I would not be able to share this special occasion with them. Well, fast forward to a couple weeks
A fun, loving couple, incredible venues, trolley rides, LOTS of dancing (including a one of a kind napkin dance to It's Raining Men) and lots of family and friends who came together to celebrate Maura and Drew on their special day. They didn't let a little rain ruin their spirits either. We were able to find a location literally across the street from the reception venue to get some great photos out of the rain where I almost fell backwards into a fountain and we all had a gr
When Broni messaged me and said she and Brooke were going to be getting married in Seattle and that they wanted me to capture it, I might have cried a little. I was overwhelmed with joy because the farthest West I have ever been was a road trip to Texas when I was 18. Also, I was so honored to have been chosen to capture such a spectacular day for two of my most favorite people in the world Of course I said YES, and bought my ticket. A couple of flights and a layover later (a
When I showed up to Red Gate that morning and saw the staff preparing the venue for a rainy day, I got back and my car and headed to the nearest Target and got a clear umbrella. I knew that if it was going to be raining all day, I was going to make it work! Yes, it rained ALL day, but man, I have no words for how incredible this entire day was. Not only did the bride and groom get out in the rain for some romantic shots, but the entire wedding party roughed it in the rain as
One thing about being a photographer is always having images you can look back on from your past. That's the point of photographs right? As I was doing some organizing tonight, I came across this session and was absolutely appalled by the fact that I never published it. So, 7 months later, here is Whitney. This beautiful lady was a vision in the sunshine for her bridal session as well as a stunner in the rain on their wedding day. Maybe I will post that someday as well! Serio
The drive from my house to the venue was filled with beautiful rolling hills, fancy houses, and Georgia sunshine. It was an incredibly beautiful day, making me even more excited to see Allison and Stone once again. The bridal party were staying in the Wheeler Cottages. Cozy little buildings that were set right off the road with a pleasantly wooded area behind, a perfect place for a bridal party to get ready. The guys were in one cottage, girls in the other. The girls laughed
Courtney and Cole were wed on the river bank in Woodbine, Ga under a cluster of enormous oak trees. The warm summer wind blew through the Spanish moss as it swept their love through the crowd of family and friends who were there to witness such a splendid evening. The bridesmaids lavender dresses matched Courtney’s (quite adorable) lavender shoes, and groomsmen looked dapper in their suspenders and matching lavender ties. Courtney’s dad patiently awaited her tap on his should
On April 1st I drove to Savannah to meet a potential bride and groom. I stopped at the mall to kill time and as I walked through the parking lot, trying to find my car (yes I seriously could not remember where I parked) a ridiculous storm rolled in. It was raining sideways and all around me the clouds we dark and I am convinced I saw a funnel cloud. It was rough. I was actually driving my husbands manual transmission car though this storm in downtown Savannah traffic. I can n
I am so happy to say that this was my 6th and last wedding of the year. I have been blessed to have so much support and have watched my business grow so much this year. With 8 wedding contracts signed and 3 pending for next year, I can say that my dreams of becoming a wedding photographer are coming true!
That being said, I want to share this beautiful wedding. This was the week before Christmas and everything about this candlelit ceremony was amazing. I am so glad Michael
When Jamie first told me the date of their wedding was October 31st, I wondered if it would be Halloween themed. Turned out, it was just the only day they could get off together to have their special day. It was so much fun getting coffee with them and I just knew it was going to be an awesome wedding. Especially when they said they had lightsabers and wanted to take formal portraits with them. The wheels in my head started spinning immediately. Before the wedding, Jamie want
First off, I was super excited about this wedding because this would be the first wedding using all of my new equipment!
That aside, when I met Chiyna I just knew that this was going to be a great day. She was so sweet and was so sure that she wanted me to photograph her wedding. We met at her work so we didn't have much time to chat but it was all the time I needed. When I asked her what she wanted out of me as her photographer she said : "I expect you to use your imagina
I just want to start off by saying that this couple is great. Before the wedding, I had a family session where I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany, Travis, their adorable daughter Cartier (who was chumming it up in front of the camera) and Tiffany's parents. They were so much fun to work with and we turned out some great shots. Fast forward to their Dallas Cowboys themed wedding! This photo is probably one of my favorites from the day. I told them to pat him on the back an
In November of 2013, I was asked to be a part of a wedding, however, not as the photographer. Two of my best friends, Britt and Nicole, got married on June 6th of this year, and I had the plessure of standing with them as a bridesmaid.
I met these two my first semester at Georgia Southern in 2011. We were in the same pledge class for our organization, we were all in the band, and Nicole and I had a class together. Britt and I worked together and in our down time at work, h
